Actress is new face of Ortak

LEADING Orkney jewellery company Ortak has this week revealed its new face - and a little bit more - as Kate Ford one of the UK's best known award winning actresses, bares all to model the jeweller's new range.
Kate Ford, who has been on our screens for more than five years playing one of Coronation Street's Tracy Barlow, has teamed up with Ortak as the new face of the jewellery company.
Kate says: "I was thrilled to be asked to be the new face of Ortak and I've really enjoyed modelling the new range - so much so that I've chosen a beautiful Ortak ring for my own wedding band."
Ortak celebrates its 40th Birthday this year and while their design and craftsmanship is rooted in tradition, embracing silversmith skills handed down through generations, they are definitely Forty and Fabulous.
The eight new collections, which hit the shops this week, include gold, diamonds, precious and semi-precious stones. Captured in a series of stunning fashion shots with Kate, the new pieces draw on key fashion influences from the 60s right up to the present.
