Statsraad Lehmkuhl in Kirkwall

THE arrival of the Norwegian sail training ship Statsraad Lehmkuhl marks the start of a season of visits by the vessel in 2009.

Along with the tall ship a host of cruise liners are also due to call in throughout the summer.

The Bergen based sailing ship is due in eleven times this year. She is pictured at Kirkwall Pier on Tuesday.
