Described as wild and surreal, Henry Adam's scintillating new comedy from the Scottish Highlands sits on the edge of Europe - and sanity. With live music and tremendous craic, it's directed by Matthew Zajac, Fringe First Winner and 2009 CATS Best Actor for The Tailor of Inverness.

Rory set to put on rare concert at The Reel

MUSICIAN, songmaker and poet Rory Mcleod is to perform a rare concert at The Reel in Kirkwall at 8pm on Friday September 17. Using tap shoes, spoons, vocals, guitar and harmonica, Rory will be singing his songs and rhythmic dance stories.

Art lecture will be worth the Waight

ORKNEY Arts Society will host a visual arts lecture by Michael Waight on September 2.
Waight is master printmaker at Peacock Visual Arts in Aberdeen, and has editioned prints with many of Britain's finest artists including the late Sylvia Wishart.
