Hoy3 goes on show at the Pier

AN EXHIBITION of work created by students from Edinburgh College of Art (eca) and the Royal Danish Academy in Copenhagen after a trip to Orkney last year will open at the Pier Arts Centre on Tuesday, February 9.
Wrigley Sisters heading to Hoy

THE Wrigley Sisters are holding two free workshops and a concert at the Hoy Kirk next weekend, February 12 and 13.
Jennifer and Hazel were originally supposed to be heading over to the island for the events last October but this was cancelled because of the weather, so the sisters are keeping their fingers crossed it is all clear this time around.

ON Sunday evening Denise Stout will make her solo debut performance in Orkney, in the St Magnus Cathedral. She will be singing an aria by Handel and Bach's Cantata 54, accompanied by members of the Orkney Camerata.
